WRS Motion Picture
& Video Laboratory is a total service facility designed to meet
all requirements for Restoration/Preservation of Film, Audio and
Video products, including:
Specially designed
optical printers to handle precise registration printing for:
YCMs, either 3-strip
or sequential and cinecolor 2-strip to intermediates, done in a
single pass, on world-class equipment, with variable pitch wet gates,
computerized registration and repositioning.
Digital Picture
restoration using a variety of software and output to 2K, 3K or 4K film.
Computerized timing
and proof printing for fast, accurately timed prints.
On-site nitrate
storage capability.
Capabilities to handle
all nitrate film elements for conversion to safety base. Redimension
where required, physical inspection and evaluation, hand cleaning,
and archival wash. A wide variety of custom equipment and talents to
accommodate unusual or uneven shrinkage, plus other inherent problems
such as excessive contrast, fading and flicker.
In-house Sound
Division for Re-recording, Corrective Equalization, Noise Reduction,
Audio Sweetening and Dynatrack Optical Sound Transfers from Magnetic
or Optical sources with the ability to accommodate shrinkage.
Digital Audio restoration.
M Track Fills
Capabilities for
transfer of 2" Quadruplex videotape to all other video formats,
including digital restoration of deteriorated tapes.
