A unique
relationship exists between a laboratory and its clients. Unlike
other businesses that provide uniform products or services, a film or
video laboratory must tailor its services to suit the individual
needs of each particular client. For such relationships to work well,
the client must also have a general knowledge of the processes,
capabilities, and limitations involved in laboratory services.
Communications between the laboratory and the client must be in a
language that is understandable and familiar to both parties.
As a member
of The Association of Cinema and Video Laboratories, WRS is striving
to provide up-to-date information to it's clients and others
interested in the technical aspects of making movies. The
information on the following pages is exerpted from The ACVL Handbook
and is provided for your use.
No handbook or
website can pretend to answere every question. If you need
further assistance on a particular matter, please e-mail
us at info@wrslabs.com.
We're delighted to help!
